The 3 advantages of the NM 257 device
- Complies with the R141 standard applicable to new vehicles registered on or after July 6, 2024.
- This active system not only alerts the driver of a pressure anomaly via a warning light on the truck’s dashboard, but also maintains pressure, allowing for future service.
- With the addition of a SIM card, it can remotely upload information.
NM 257 in detail
- Compatible with all EBS systems (Haldex, Wabco, Knorr)
- Available from the vast majority of European manufacturers (please specify VIGIA NM 257).
- R 141 approved alone, there is no need to add pressure sensors (TPMS).
Functioning
To comply with the new R 141 standard, we will connect it to the semi-trailer’s EBS, and when it is coupled to the tractor*, the information will be transmitted to the tractor’s dashboard.
- New generation tractor
There is no need to add pressure indicators (TPMS), as the NM 257 model is approved alone.
