The Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) is a device installed directly on a vehicle to assess the tire inflation pressure or variations in this pressure over time, and to transmit this information to the user while the vehicle is moving.
The truck driver must be alerted within 10 minutes in the event of a loss of more than 20% of tire pressure or disconnection of the TPMS sensors.
